KATHERINE PLOURDE

Katherine Plourde (b. 1993) is a Brooklyn based artist and arts administrator. In her own studio practice, she works primarily in painting, drawing, and printmaking, using symbolist and occult imagery to explore ideas of queer identity, consciousness, and otherness.. She has worked in the studios of several notable NYC based artists in addition to having previously held administrative positions at NARS Foundation and the Skowhegan School of Painting & Sculpture, among others. She received her BFA from the Corcoran College of Art + Design in 2015.
